Hornets legend Muggsy Bogues is headed to All-Star weekend
Former Charlotte Hornets point guard Muggsy Bogues is set to appear at All-Star weekend. Is he playing in Sunday night's game? Um, no. He is not.
Instead, the living 5'3" legend will compete in Friday night's Celebrity All-Star game, alongside the likes of former NBA star Tracy McGrady, actor Michael B. Jordan, Milwaukee Bucks owner Marc Lasry and a bunch of other rich and famous people.
For a list of all the participants, here's the NBA's official press release.
Bogues spent 10 seasons in Charlotte (and five with the Golden State Warriors, Toronto Raptors and Washington Bullets), averaging 8.8 points and 8.8 assists per game. He finished making 45.8 percent of all his field goal attempts, and a 15.0 career PER. For someone that small, those numbers are incredible.
And it appears he still has some serious moves.
Just give him the MVP trophy right now.
