Jalen Rose uses analogy for the Knicks that he probably read on a Snapple lid

Last summer, Carmelo Anthony wasn't around for any face-to-face meetings with free agents, but Anthony plans on being more involved this go-round so that maybe he and the Knicks can at least get within throwing distance of .500 in the Phil Jackson era. Before he embarks on that journey, Jalen Rose wanted to impart a piece of sage wisdom that he probably read in a TweetGram:

Sure, I get it. The Knicks are a raging dumpster fire, he's the whole team in points, rebounds, and assists; I get it. And I guess clichés are clichés for a reason.

Though I probably would've gone with something like "the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" or "one must imagine that Sisyphus is happy" or something like that. But hey, hindsight's 20-20.
