Joe Johnson to skinnier Lionel Hollins: 'What happened to you?'
Lionel Hollins has dropped 22 pounds working with Rachael Ray over the offseason, and some people are more impressed than others.
Hollins went on SiriusXM radio Monday, and ESPN's Mike Mazzeo was there to listen to and tweet out some of the more notable moments, including Joe Johnson's quip to his skinnier coach:

Hollins also commented on Johnson's and Brook Lopez's importance to the team:

One of the bigger problems Hollins has encountered during his career is his players' inability to buy into his philosophies and personalities. That's not a systematic issue as much as it's an individual one. Some players love him. Some clash with his fiery personality.
Building a locker room that will respond to him was an essential part of the Nets' offseason. It's still unclear if next year will yield an improved locker room environment, but Hollins' perspective is certainly an interesting one:
Do the guys get Lionel now? "It's not that people don't get me or do get me. It's whether they want to accept me." #Nets
