With two 3-pointers in the first quarter against the Dallas Mavericks on Friday, Golden State Warriors wing Klay Thompson became the second-fastest active player to 1,000 career 3s made in the regular season:

Thompson is the 29th active player with at least 1,000 made regular season 3s, according to Basketball-Reference.
Naturally, Stephen Curry is the fastest active player, since he can do things like hit this ridiculous 3 to end the first quarter:
But it was a pretty close race. Friday was Thompson's 372nd career regular-season game; it took Curry 369 games to eclipse 1,000 made 3s.
