Kobe left lasting memory during prom date with Brandy 20 years ago

You can't say Brandy isn't sentimental. The R&B singer told TMZ that she still has the prom dress she wore 20 years ago when a then-18-year-old Kobe Bryant took her to the big dance.

Even back then the Black Mamba had game, scoring a date with the then-pop superstar despite being a relative unknown outside of the Philadelphia hoops scene. He was still a few weeks from being drafted by the Charlotte Hornets then traded to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Brandy, who had previously said she kept the corsage from that night, told TMZ that the date was "special."
