Kobe makes worst history as Warriors set record for best start
As impressive as the Warriors' record-setting win was Tuesday night, the Lakers' loss was equally unimpressive.
Especially for Kobe Bryant.
While Stephen Curry and the Warriors ran circles around the Lakers, moving the ball around and draining threes to go 16-0 -- the best start in NBA history -- Bryant looked every bit the struggling 37-year-old. He missed 13 of 14 shots, turned the ball over three times and finished with four points in three quarters before sitting out the fourth.
Bryant matched his worst shooting night when taking 10 or more; he also went 1 for 14 against the Spurs on Nov. 14, 2014.
"I could have scored 80 tonight, it wouldn't have made a damn difference," Bryant said after the Lakers lost 111-77, their fourth straight defeat, to fall to 2-12, second only to the winless 76ers for worst record in the NBA.
Bryant entered the game shooting a career-low 33.1 percent.
