Kobe sticks up for Westbrook's franchise-record 43 shots

It's not often that an NBA player scores 54 points. But after the season he's had, it almost came as no surprise when Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook pulled off the feat Sunday night, during a 116-104 loss to the Indiana Pacers.
The statistic that mattered most to some media members, though, was Westbrook's field goal attempts: He took a monstrous 43, a franchise record, in the contest. That didn't bother him too much, according to his post-game interview:

It also didn't bother one of the few ballers alive who knows what it's like to take that many tries from the field, Kobe Bryant:
