LeBron James' resounding dunk against the New York Knicks on Wednesday night, in which rookie Kristaps Porzingis showed the wisdom of a veteran by deciding discretion is the better part of valor, is sure to keep reverberating through the NBA season.
Afterward, James took to social media to punctuate the moment, paraphrasing Jimi Hendrix and calling himself an "old head."

At least James was close on the "Purple Haze" lyrics, whose "excuse me while I kiss the sky" ranks near the top among most misheard lyrics ever, usually repeated as "excuse me while I kiss this guy."
