LeBron James is being vague and cryptic on Twitter again
On Monday, Stephen A. Smith suggested that Kyrie Irving "ain't too happy being in Cleveland" and wants out. Even given the chemistry problems that plagued the Cavs at the start of the 2014-15 season, the report was easy to scoff at off the bat, considering Smith was citing "close personal friends" and nameless "sources" again. Irving also denied it up and down after Monday night's win over the Indiana Pacers.
But on Tuesday, LeBron James took to Twitter to muddy the water again with some more cryptic stuff about living with consequences.
Remember how much time the two of them spent publicly denying the feud between them last year? It's also no secret that Irving's stunted ability to play defense annoys James, and there's the fact that this whole "Kyrie wants out of Cleveland" story has had legs since Irving's second year in the league.
It could also be about Kevin Love. The big man has been looking pretty unfamiliar as of late and James did send out a similarly cryptic and poorly-worded tweet about Love "fitting out," during his struggles last season. (Which, funny enough, was also after a game against the Pacers.)
It could be that this doesn't haven anything to do with the Cavs at all. Maybe his wife watched the latest episode of Downton Abbey without him when it was a thing that they both agreed they would be doing every Monday night together. Or maybe LeBron Jr. forgot to put the trash out for collection day which now means no 2K for two weeks because that's the rule.
Yeah. It's probably that last one. That's definitely it.
