Mike Conley purchases 500 Game 5 tickets for Grizzlies fans

Memphis Grizzlies guard Mike Conley decided to show his appreciation for all Grizzlies fans who have supported him since he suffered an awful facial fracture in Game 3 by purchasing 500 tickets to Game 5. The tickets will be given away at noon in the FedExForum Grand Lobby.

Here's Conley on what motivated him to be so generous:

“It was such a disappointment to go down in Game 3, but my spirits were immediately lifted after all of the support that I received from fans around the world, but especially those right here in Memphis. As a way to say thank you, I’d like for them to be cheering us on tomorrow at Game 5 because there’s no greater experience than the NBA Playoffs in Memphis.” 

As far as classy gestures go, this one takes the cake. Basically no matter what happens from here on out, Conley won't have to pay for a meal in Memphis for the rest of his life. Deservedly so.
