NBA GMs: Heat got the biggest steal of this year's draft

Justise Winslow was a possible top-five pick entering draft night. He walked away having not heard his name called until the 10th selection. The Heat are surely just fine with the way things worked out, and opposing GMs are giving Miami some dap for the way they plucked up a dropping talent.

The annual survey of NBA GMs came out today, one that polls general managers on their opinions regarding just about everything around the league. So, it was no surprise when the GMs released their list of biggest draft steals from this past June.

Here it is:

1. Justise Winslow (10), Miami -- 31 percent

2. Bobby Portis (22), Chicago -- 24.1 percent

3. Emmanuel Mudiay (7), Denver -- 20.7 percent

4. Myles Turner (11), Indiana -- 6.9 percent

Winslow averaged 12.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game during his sole season at Duke. So far this preseason, he's struggled as a scorer, but has made an impact rebounding and assisting on the wings.
