The New Jersey Nets have shaken up their roster by signing guard Mario West to a 10-day contract and waiving guard-forward Quinton Ross.

The team announced the moves Thursday.

The 6-foot-5, 210-pound West played three seasons with the Atlanta Hawks after signing with them as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He had spent this season with the Maine Red Claws of the NBA Development League.

Ross played in 36 games for the Nets this season, averaging 1.6 points and 0.8 rebounds in 9.8 minutes. But the seven-year NBA veteran had missed 24 games this season due to injury.
