New York Knicks: Brandon Jennings Plays On West 4th Street
New York Knicks point guard Brandon Jennings visited one of the most popular basketball courts in New York City: West 4th Street.
If you’re a fan of New York basketball, then you know how deep the sport runs beyond the New York Knicks. Basketball is a way of life for many in New York City and few places embody that more than the famous court on West 4th Street.
Recently signed Knicks point guard Brandon Jennings took in the beauty of New York basketball at the vaunted West 4th Street venue.
Jennings has been one of the most popular players in the NBA since he entered the league in 2009. He scored 55 points as a rookie and, since then, has earned the respect of the masses for his flashy play and uncanny ability to take over a game.

It’s an exciting time to be a Knicks fan.
Jennings is coming off of a rough season with the Detroit Pistons and Orlando Magic. Having established that, it’s encouraging to know that he played in 48 of 53 games after making a surprisingly fast return from a ruptured achilles tendon.
For what it’s worth, Jennings averaged 20.0 points, 7.2 assists, and 2.7 3-point field goals made in the 15 games before his injury in 2014-15.
He led Detroit to a 12-3 record during that stretch.
The most tragic aspect of Jennings’ injury is that, in the game before he was injured, he recorded 24 points and 21 assists. It was an all-time performance by a player who had long been on a star trajectory.
Instead of completing the push for his first career All-Star Game appearance, Jennings was sidelined by a career-threatening injury.
20 months later, Jennings is in New York with an opportunity to achieve a career renaissance.
Knicks team president Phil Jackson signed signed Jennings to a one-year deal worth $5 million. If Jennings performs well, he’d likely earn a new contract and resurrect his career.
On a prove-it deal with a team president who believes in him, Jennings has intriguing potential.
