Nuggets coach Michael Malone calls recent game 'worst defensive effort' he's ever seen
Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone has coached some young teams that have played pretty bad defense in the past. But after his Nuggets team gave up 130 points to the New Orleans Pelicans, Malone had some pretty stinging comments.
The Nuggets are currently 11-16 and 27th in defensive efficiency, so this isn't a new development. Malone is regarded as a defensive specialist, which likely makes performances like the one against New Orleans even more frustrating.
