Omri Casspi says he hasn't spoken to Kings head coach Dave Joerger this season

The Sacramento Kings have been one of the more dysfunctional teams in the NBA the last few years. They had three different head coaches during the 2015 season, and last year's coach, George Karl, openly feuded with DeMarcus Cousins.

Dave Joerger is in his first season as Kings head coach, and if veteran small forward Omri Casspi is to be believed, he's not much different in terms of how he manages the relationships with his players.

Joerger held a team meeting recently to discuss what the rotation would be moving forward, and Casspi was one of the odd men out. But he didn't get any type of explanation as to why, and says he hasn't even spoken with Joerger directly since the regular season began.

“We haven’t talked since preseason. It was a team-wide meeting only,” Casspi said, via Cowbell Kingdom.

This doesn't seem like the best way to for a coach to handle the benching of one of his veteran players. But it's business as usual in Sacramento, where the Kings haven't made the playoffs in the past 10 years.
