Prediction: Sacramento Kings' Box Score Game 12 vs LA Clippers

Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

The Sacramento Kings host the LA Clippers on November 17, 2016.  This article predicts the Kings’ box score for that game.

Tonight, the Sacramento Kings play host to the LA Clippers.  The Kings enter the contest on a three-game losing streak.  This is the first meeting between the two squads this regular season, but they met to close out the preseason with the Clippers winning 92-89.  Arron Afflalo and Matt Barnes did not suit up for the Kings in that contest, but here are the highlights from that game to give you a look at this year’s Clippers in action.

Without further ado, here is my prediction for tonight’s Kings’ box score against the LA Clippers.

Box Score Prediction

This box score was a difficult one to predict.  The Clippers are giving up 93.8 points per game this season, according to NBA.com/stats, which is good for second-best in the NBA.  They have the league’s best defensive rating at 94.6 points per 100 possessions.  Needless to say, it was difficult to predict the Kings to really light up the scoreboard tonight.

The thing I am most monitoring for tonight’s contest is the minutes.  James Ham of CSN California wrote the following tweet after Wednesday’s loss to the Spurs.

Now it will be interesting to see if that means just a change to the starting lineup or the actual rotation and minute’s distribution.  Stay tuned to twitter leading up to tonight’s contest to see any late breaking developments.

Summary

There you have it my projected box score for tonight’s game against the LA Clippers.  The Clippers are one of the Western Conference’s best teams, so it will be interesting to see how the Kings matchup and if they can protect their home turf.  The game is featured on ESPN, so just about everyone can tune in and enjoy the game.
