Prediction: Sacramento Kings' Box Score Game 21 at Dallas Mavericks

Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

The Sacramento Kings travel to take on the Dallas Mavericks on December 7, 2016.  This article predicts the Kings’ box score for that game.

The Sacramento Kings travel to Dallas to take on the Mavericks tonight.  That is seemingly bad news for the Kings as they struggle mightily on the road.  They have just 3 wins in 11 road contests this season.

The Kings are fresh off a 106-98 road loss to the New York Knicks on Sunday.  Below is a highlight video from that game just in case you missed the action.

Without further ado, below is my prediction of the Sacramento Kings’ box score for tonight’s contest at the Dallas Mavericks.

Box Score Prediction

The Dallas Mavericks enter tonight’s game with a record of 4 wins and 16 losses.  They, also, just received news that starting center Andrew Bogut will be sidelined for at least the next 10 days with a bone bruise in his right knee.  Bogut rates as the team’s best defender with a 95.3 defensive rating, so that appears to be a big loss to an already struggling club.

Despite that, the Mavericks rate 7th in the NBA in points allowed at 99.4 points per game.  Couple that with the NBA’s second-slowest pace and tonight’s contest will probably not be a high scoring shootout.

The Bogut injury leaves the Mavericks in a difficult position to matchup against DeMarcus Cousins.  That is why I think Boogie goes off again leading the Kings’ to victory with a double-double of 36 points and 13 rebounds.

Summary

There you have it, my prediction of the Sacramento Kings’ box score for tonight’s contest against the Dallas Mavericks.  This game has road victory written all over it.  The Kings need to be ready to play and they should be able to polish off the Mavericks.
