Prediction: Sacramento Kings' Box Score Game 38 vs Detroit Pistons
The Sacramento Kings host the Detroit Pistons on January 10, 2017. This article predicts the Sacramento Kings’ box score for that game.
Tonight, the Detroit Pistons invade Sacramento and the Golden 1 Center to take on the Kings. The Kings are riding a three-game losing streak and have lost five of their last six games. The Kings are in desperate need of a bounce-back game tonight at home.
On Sunday, the Kings played host to the Golden State Warriors and were defeated by a score of 117-106. Below is a highlight video from that game in case you missed the action.
Without further ado, below is my prediction of the Sacramento Kings’ box score for tonight’s contest against the Detroit Pistons.
Box Score Prediction
This season’s Detroit Pistons are a slow and steady team. They currently rank 26th in the NBA in pace, but they play solid defense (10th in defensive rating). They struggle in offensive rating ranking 21st in the NBA. Detroit is a team that is going to attempt to slow the game down and limit your scoring in order to walk away victorious.
The marquee battle of the night should be DeMarcus Cousins squaring off with Andre Drummond. Drummond, an All-Star, is having a bit of a down season, but at age 23 is already proving himself as one of the NBA’s best centers. A matchup with Cousins should be a great showdown.
I expect Boogie to come out early and try to get Drummond in foul trouble. Cousins will want to wash away the taste of that Golden State game and should be in line for a big night in this game.
Summary
There you have it, my prediction of the Sacramento Kings’ box score for tonight’s game. The Detroit Pistons provide yet another opportunity for the Kings to pick-up a quality home win. Here is to hoping the Kings get the job done inside the Golden 1 Center tonight.
