Reason for Stephen Curry's recent success? His new toilet

The secret to Steph Curry's stellar play this season might be simpler than most think:

In a recent interview with ESPN the Magazine, Curry dished on some details behind that odd tweet, revealing that his wife, Ayesha, recently had an automatic toilet installed in their home. And that the next night Curry dropped 46 points on the Minnesota Timberwolves:

How has Curry played post-automatic toilet? Has he been that much better? Better at all?

You also recently tweeted with glee about a new automated toilet your wife, Ayesha, bought for you. How big of a role has that hole played in your season?

[Laughs] Is this your first interview with a toilet question?

Sadly, it is not even remotely my first interview with a toilet question.

Oh, man, that toilet just makes me happy in life. And when you're happy, you play better. I bet if I did a case study on my performance since I got the toilet, you'd see the difference.

Sounds exciting. Were you on the new pot when you posted that tweet?

Well, I am a big social-media-on-the-toilet guy, because that's my break time. But no, I was in Minnesota when Ayesha told me about it. And the next day I had 46 [points]. There's a reason for that. I was very happy.

Well, here is a statistical breakdown of Curry's numbers before and after the new toilet:

Curry before the new toilet: 31.9 points on 52% FG, 45 3PT, 5.3 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 2.7 steals

Curry after the new toilet: 32.7 points on 54% FG, 48% 3PT, 4.6 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.9 steals

Curry certainly is shooting and scoring better than he was before he had the new toilet, but the rest of his numbers have dipped a little bit.

That said, if you want to improve your 3-point jumper by at least three percent, you should look into getting an automated toilet.
