Report: Clippers 'spoke with reps' for Ryan Hollins, Chris Singleton
The Clippers have one more spot open on their roster, and they're exploring all possibilities before committing to anyone.
Wednesday, Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times reported the Clippers were interested in bringing Glen "Big Baby" Davis back to wear blue, red and white, though that was hardly a guarantee. Now, Turner has word on a couple more free agents the Clippers have spoken to:
Clippers fans might remember Hollins as the man who was their backup center during 2012-13 and 2013-14. He spent this past season playing for the Kings.
Singleton, meanwhile, is a 25-year-old wing who was once a first-round pick, selected 18th by the Wizards in the 2011 draft. After winning Defensive Player of the Year in the ACC, though, he never panned out in the league, not even as a wing stopper. He played three years for Washington, but was out of the league after that and spent this past season with the in the Chinese League and the NBDL.
