Report: DeMarcus Cousins to miss more games with Achilles strain

Published Nov. 6, 2015 11:53 a.m. ET

The Sacramento Kings aren't facing the worst case scenario with DeMarcus Cousins and his injured right Achilles. But Cousins won't be back on the court as soon as hoped, either.

According to a report from Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee, the Kings will continue to sit Cousins through the weekend:

Sacramento faces the Golden State Warriors on Friday night and the Houston Rockets on Saturday. That could put the Kings in an awkward spot. They've looked good with Cousins on the floor, but their record hasn't reflected the process. Sacramento stands at 1-4; two losses to Western powerhouses without the Kings' big man could encourage rumblings about coach George Karl's job status.
