Report: Divac says phones 'not ringing off hook' for DeMarcus Cousins

Published Dec. 16, 2015 2:40 p.m. ET

It's the middle of December and, once again, trade rumors surrounding Sacramento's star DeMarcus Cousins are swirling.

The Celtics are the team making most headlines for Cousins, but he's also been tied to other teams around the league like the Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls. By the end of the trade deadline over the past few seasons, however, Boogie remained in Sacramento. Reports this morning indicated that Cousins will (again) likely remain on the Kings.

"Vlade Divac indicated phones not ringing off hook, nor is Cousins going anywhere," tweeted USA Today's Sam Amick.

Of course, the rumors may heat up and Cousins could, perhaps, get traded this season. Meanwhile, the Kings have won three games in a row and appear to be in the playoff race despite starting off the season with a 1-7 record.
