On Tuesday, a bit more detail emerged. According to a report from one Kings reporter, there are "concerns internally" about head coach George Karl and that "nothing is off the table":

There's reportedly been tension between Karl and the Kings for most of this offseason. Multiple reports indicated Karl was in favor of trading Cousins, and Karl reportedly entered the season on the hot seat.

The Kings are 1-7 to start the season with a below-average offense and a bottom-five defense. Much of that can be chalked up to Cousins' four-game absence. But regardless of the multiple causes, the end result seems to be turmoil in Sacramento once more.
