Rudy Gay takes shot at Warriors fans

Needless to say, the Sacramento Kings are frustrated after their California rivals finished off a four-game season sweep for the third consecutive year.

Following Sacramento’s loss to the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night, forward Rudy Gay had some rather interesting words about Warriors fans, starting with those who reside in California’s capital city:

This comment was likely in response to the large amount of Warriors fans at Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento on Saturday evening.

Throwing some more shade at Warriors fans a bit further north, Gay had this to say:

It’s an interesting take considering Warriors fans were known for supporting bad teams prior to their recent run of success.

The bandwagon claim will continue as long as the Warriors are putting out a good product. And in reality, there are those who have jumped on the train over the past couple years.

That’s par for the course when a team comes out of nowhere to put up the success we have seen from the Warriors recently.

As it relates to Gay, he might want to worry a bit more about his Kings. Following the loss Saturday night, Sacramento finds itself at 15-22 on the season.
