Scott Brooks benefited and suffered from timing

Scott Brooks and the Oklahoma City Thunder parted ways on Wednesday. While Brooks deserved the job when he got it, he also benefited from being the interim coach players responded to after the Thunder fired PJ Carlesimo. 

Unfortunately, just as Brooks benefited from great timing, he also suffered from poor timing, as his stars kept getting injured when it mattered most, leading to continued playoff or regular season losses.
