Spurs' Boban gets the best of Tim Duncan in 1-on-1, Duncan erupts
It appears we finally know the real reason the San Antonio Spurs added Boban Marjanovic to their team: They needed someone to challenge Tim Duncan.

Marjanovic and Duncan have previously been spotted horsing around before various games, having fun and laughing it up.
Both are obviously fierce competitors, and their juices really start to flow going up against each other one-on-one in practice. Duncan is over 10 years older than Marjanovic, so the rookie has that advantage in his pocket.
But it's still impressive to see anyone slow down the greatest power forward basketball has ever seen on back-to-back possessions. And we can't believe how fiercely Duncan reacted to the steal by Boban. A half-joking dejected swing of the arm? That's the most emotional we've seen the legendary Spurs big man since his last interaction with Joey Crawford.
The next question: Which team is giving Marjanovic a max contract this summer?
