The Denver Nuggets must make a statement against the Dallas Mavericks in tomorrow’s game.

The Denver Nuggets have had a great duo of games. In 2 statement wins, the Nuggets have showed that Gary Harris is the glue that holds this team together and that Nikola Jokic will be key to their success in their future.

However, there are still many questions that abound about this young Denver squad.

If the Nuggets are to be taken seriously this season, then they must win tomorrow when they face a struggling Dallas Maverick team. The same team who blew out the Nuggets last week, despite the fact they have the worst record in the league and are without their star in Dirk Nowitzki.

While it is frustrating as fans to continually see experts and analysts doubt Denver, it is easy to see why when the Nuggets drop games to teams like the Mavericks. That has seemed to have been the problem with this team, they have a tendency to lose to teams they should beat, then win against a formidable opponent that they are underdogs against.

The defense still has a ton of room for improvement, but Coach Malone seems to have found the ideal lineup of this young squad.

Losing to the dismal Dallas Mavericks for a second time this season would be a sure-fire recipe for criticism. Not to mention, a 3 game winning streak showing their potential and promise would give Nuggets fans the first thing to be excited about in a long time.

If the Nuggets can start consistently winning games, then they will have a legitimate shot at the 8 seed, even though it is still very early in the year.

With a bit of luck, health, and consistency, the Denver Nuggets could see themselves back in the postseason this year.
