These retro UNC Jordan shoes were only on sale for 15 minutes on Monday
For just a moment on Monday afternoon, Nike re-released one of its most iconic shoes ever -- and just as quickly, they were gone.
If you were lucky enough to be by your phone or connected to social media, hopefully you saw the siren's call go out for the Legend Blue Jordan 11. Nike apparently restocked the North Carolina Tar Heels-themed shoe to celebrate tonight's NCAA tournament title game berth for Michael Jordan's alma mater:
But you would have needed to act fast, as most adult sizes were sold out within minutes. By the 15-minute mark, each and every pair was gone:
This specific colorway first went on sale in December 2014 as a retro take on the original Columbia colorway of the Jordan 11. While Jordan didn't wear the Legend Blue in-game during his NBA career, he did rock the Columbia Js in the 1996 All-Star Game, the same year that the 11 debuted:
