The Jazz finished this year with a 51-31 record and the 5-seed in the western conference playoffs. After an early exit to Golden State in the second round, Utah entered what looks like a daunting off-season.

With their superstar forward Gordon Hayward heading into free agency, it seems more and more likely with each passing day that they'll be entering the 2017–18 season without their best weapon. This year's draft can serve as an opportunity to try to fill the void if Hayward does ultimately leave next season.
