So be kind, Kings fans. It's not the fault of this Bulls beat writer that he says DeMarcus Cousins "has no basketball IQ." He's probably just not watching Sacramento as much as he should be:
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, of course. But as fans of Cousins and the way he picks defenses apart, we're inclined to disagree with this assessment.
You have problems when you trust, say, DeMarcus Cousins. If you just read box scores, as an aside, you don't get Cousins. He puts up amazing numbers, but has no basketball IQ. He'll come down the stretch making mistake after mistake in holding the ball, forcing shots, committing bad fouls.
