Watch dunk champ Zach LaVine pull off a 360 slam from the free-throw line
The 2017 NBA Slam Dunk Contest might be over three months before it begins.
On Wednesday afternoon, Minnesota Timberwolves guard and two-time slam dunk champion Zach LaVine pulled off the seemingly impossible, throwing down a massive 360-degree dunk after taking off from the free-throw line. And fortunately for us, teammate Andrew Wiggins was there to capture the incredible slam:
LaVine might be a half-step over the line there; it's hard to tell exactly where he takes off. I'm not going to split hairs here, though. That's one of the most incredible dunks I've ever seen.
Let this stand as a notice to Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon, who finished second to LaVine in last year's contest — you better be hard at work in the lab coming up with new dunks that can top last year's amazing show.
