Julius Randle has flashed a guard-like ability to drive coast-to-coast in his sophomore campaign. If given a lane to the rim, his power and explosion are a dangerous combination.

Thompson was just a hair too late -- a half-second earlier and he probably fouls Randle or blocks his shot -- and that sense of timing makes a world of difference as a rim-protector. A moment of indecision leads to an embarrassing Vine.
After over half a season of bizarre rotation decisions and overall poor basketball, the Lakers have finally become a fun team ever since they unleashed their young studs after the All-Star break.
