WATCH: Kelly Olynyk jukes the daylights out of Karl-Anthony Towns

Published Dec. 22, 2015 9:40 a.m. ET

Kelly Olynyk was drafted No. 13 overall in 2013 by the Dallas Mavericks and promptly traded to the Boston Celtics on draft night for assets you've already forgotten about.

Karl-Anthony Towns was drafted No. 1 overall in 2015 by the Minnesota Timberwolves and promptly declared one of the NBA's next young superstars. On paper and by draft position, Olynyk and Towns exist in two completely different worlds of talent and value.

But, of course, that doesn't mean anything on any single night, and on Monday Olynyk took the No. 1 pick to school when they went head-to-head in Boston (at least on one play).

Check out Olynyk getting the ball coming off a screen and juking the daylights out of Towns with a nasty jab step, almost causing Towns to fall on his back.

Check that out again in slow-mo.

Olynyk 1, Towns 0.

Towns can at least say he had the better statistical night -- 25 points, 16 rebounds and three blocks compared to Olynyk's 19, five and one -- but Boston beat the Wolves 113-99, so it was a good night for Olynyk and Co.
