Watch Paul George slam home an alley-oop from Monta Ellis
There was a welcomed sight for the Indiana Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse Tuesday night.
Paul George executed a dribble hand-off with Monta Ellis on the right wing. Ellis held the ball and surveyed the floor. George cut toward the middle of the rim, receiving a back-screen from rookie Myles Turner.
With a clear path to the rim, George took off from just outside the restricted area line. Ellis lobbed a perfect pass and George slammed it home. It was poetic.
Check out the play below:
Not only does George look like the athletic monster he was two seasons ago, but Ellis is actually passing and not just looking for his own shot, a mindset that generally bodes well for his teams.
It's only preseason, but the Pacers are 3-1 and looking good thus far.
