Watch the missed call on DeRozan that officially ended the Pacers' season
The Raptors had a 16-point fourth-quarter lead over the Pacers in Game 7 of their first-round playoff series, but the combination of a gritty Indiana team and a history of collapses in Toronto meant no lead was safe.
The Pacers made a late run to try to save their season on Sunday, and had chipped away to come within just three points with under 24 seconds remaining. Paul George attempted a lob pass to Ian Mahinmi to go for a quick two, but DeMar DeRozan pushed Mahinmi out of the way and came away with the steal.
There's no question that was a foul, and it would be legitimately surprising if the league's Last Two Minute Report didn't confirm that tomorrow afternoon.
It doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, of course, because the outcome of the game won't be changed after the fact. But DeRozan got away with one here, and credit him for doing whatever was necessary to help his team win.
