Which NBA coach would you trust to babysit? The coaches weigh in
The NBA Coaches Association wants you to know that the coaches in the league love children. Many have their own young ones; Boston Celtics coach Brad Stevens isn't that far removed from being a kid himself!
But which coach would make the best babysitter? The association polled the men who patrol the sidelines, asking them which colleague they'd most trust to watch after their children. The answers ran the gamut from Rick Carlisle (a multiple nominee) to Gregg Popovich (yes, Pop), but the clear winner was Stevens, whose name came up at least three times:
The most important part of the video is a story from Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers, who says he once let Dennis Rodman watch after his children:
"Our babysitter was late, and he said, 'I'll do it.' And we came back, and our kids said, 'We want him every time.' I mean, the house was an absolute mess, so Dennis didn't know the cleaning part of babysitting."
Let the record state: Dennis Rodman was a fine babysitter, as long as you don't mind a little housework.
