With home win record in sight, Draymond Green says Warriors are aiming for perfection
All it will take for the Golden State Warriors to tie a 1995-96 Chicago Bulls record is a win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night. Defeat Kevin Durant & Co., and the Warriors will notch their 44th consecutive win at home.
Ask Draymond Green if Golden State will match the Bulls on Thursday, however, and he'll go a step further. The Warriors won't be happy with tying or even surpassing Chicago. Instead, they want perfection (via NBA.com):

"I think so," he told NBA.com. "We've been phenomenal at home. We've protected our home court. I think it's possible for us to do it."
And then, without prompting:
"I think we will."
The 1985-86 Boston Celtics hold the current record for most home wins in a season, losing just once to the Portland Trail Blazers -- a loss which still haunts the members of that legendary Boston team.
Today's Warriors will have plenty of opportunity to stumble. Thanks to a road-heavy early schedule, Golden State has 17 of its final 24 games at Oracle Arena. Yet the Warriors face just two truly tough tests after Thursday's tilt with the Thunder, hosting the Clippers on March 23 and the San Antonio Spurs On April 7. Outside of those two teams, Golden State's remaining opponents are a combined 112 games below .500, thanks in large part to future dates with the Philadelphia 76ers and Phoenix Suns.
Still, no game is a gimme in the NBA. Just ask those '95-'96 Bulls, who lost to the expansion Toronto Raptors in their record-setting campaign. The Warriors would be wise to keep that in mind.
