Wizards' Kelly Oubre Jr. says he's a draft day steal

No one can say that the newest member of the Washington Wizards is lacking in self-confidence.

Kansas guard Kelly Oubre Jr. had plenty to say about his future once he was drafted. The Wizards traded two second round picks to move up four spots to acquire Oubre Jr. from the Atlanta Hawks in a draft day trade.

Here's what Oubre said after shaking hands with the commissioner, as transcribed by Dan Steinberg of the Washington Post:

“Whoever gets me is getting a jewel, you know what I mean?” Oubre told ESPN immediately after he was selected. “I feel like I’m a steal in this draft. I’m ready to win a championship. And whatever team gets me, we’re winning a championship, and I’m ready to put the work in to do so.”
