A Texans scout accidentally texted a triathlete about his team's draft plans
The weeks leading up to the NFL Draft are incredibly busy for NFL scouts, so it's only natural that scouts occasionally make some mistakes. Houston Texans scout Rob Kisiel was left red-faced recently when he attempted to text former Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott only to find out he had the wrong number.
Luckily for Kisiel, he did not include any sensitive information in the text.
So a Texans scout text the wrong person thinking it was Dak Prescott ??? Welp the cats out the bag pic.twitter.com/QcNxCzgeW5

It is interesting to see that Kisiel asked about other teams who showed interest in Prescott, as it gives a unique look into what teams pay attention to on draft day. The quarterback received a 5.42 draft grade from NFL.com and was arrested for an alleged DUI just two days after his pro day in March. He seems more like a long-term project at quarterback rather than an immediate success. That seems like a decent fit for the Texans, who just signed Brock Osweiler to a four-year, $72 million contract.
