Actives & Inactives: Hamilton, Jones, Mitchell Out - Bennett, Valentine In
The actives/inactives are in for New England vs. Buffalo. DT Woodrow Hamilton will sit out again this week, but TE Martellus Bennett is good to go.
Other items of note from the actives/inactives list:
Recently acquired LB Kyle Van Noy will not play, nor will RB Tyler Gaffney, who was called up to the 53-man roster yesterday to fill an open spot. Also out are RB D.J. Foster, T LaAdrian Weddle, CB Cyrus Jones, and WR Malcolm Mitchell.
Mitchell, however, did make the trip to New Era Field along with QB Jacoby Brissett, who is currently on IR after thumb surgery.

Jones looks to still be on Bill Belichick’s naughty list after two ill-advised kick returns out of the end zone in Week 4 against the same bills, followed the next week by a scuffle with Cleveland Browns receiver Andrew Hawkins — throwing a punch in the process — that saw him get ejected from the game.
After being held out of Friday’s practice as a precautionary measure, it looks like TE Martellus Bennett will be on the field this week.
In more good news for the Patriots, DT Vincent Valentine is back in the lineup after missing last week’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, adding such much-needed depth at the position. Rookie CB Jonathan Jones, who was a surprising addition to Friday’s injury report with a hip issue, is also active and was out with the team for early warmups.
For the Bills, the most notable absences are RB LeSean McCoy and S Aaron Williams. Other scratches for Buffalo include QB Cardale Jones, T Seantrel Henderson, C Patric Lewis, WR Marquise Goodwin, and DT Jerel Worthy.
