Adidas offers $1 million to draft prospect who can break the 40-yard dash record
The 2016 NFL Combine will be held from Feb. 23-29, and this year the draft prospects have an added incentive to run the fasted 40-yard dash at the event.
Adidas is offering $1 million to any participant who can break the Combine's 40-yard dash record. NFL veteran running back Chris Johnson has held down that title since the 2008 combine when he blazed a 4.24 40-yard dash.

There is a catch -- in order to be eligible for the cash prize, the prospect must be wearing Adidas’ adizero 5-Star 40 cleats.
History was almost made during the 2014 combine when draft prospect Dri Archer ran a 4.26. There have only been three more prospects to run the 40 in under 4.3 seconds. Marquise Goodwin (4.27) did it in 2013, DeMarcus Van Dyke (4.28) did it in 2011 and Jacoby Ford (4.28) in 2010.
Johnson's record has proven tough to beat, but keep an eye on these three draft prospects at this year's combine. We're not saying they're going to break Johnson's record, but they may have the best shot at taking home the $1 million prize.
1. Kolby Listenbee, TCU
In addition to what he's contributed on the football field, Listenbee is an accomplished track star. In 2015, he posted the fastest 100-meter dash (10.04 seconds) in the nation among football players.
2. Willie Quinn, Southern
The Southern University wide receiver stands 5-foot-5 and about 150 pounds, and he can flat-out fly. The senior from the Southwestern Athletic Conference may not rank high on NFL Draft boards, but according to CBS Sports he has posted a 40-yard dash in the 4.3 range.
3. Braxton Miller, Ohio State
The converted wide receiver turned heads at the Senior Bowl by being named Practice Player of the Week. He showed off his unique athleticism and you can expect to see that on display at the combine. Miller told Yahoo Sports' Eric Edholm that his goal is to run a 4.28 40-yard dash.
