WASHINGTON (AP) Cary Williams' agent says the cornerback has agreed to sign with the Washington Redskins.

Williams was released by the Seattle Seahawks last month and is expected to be available for Washington's wild-card game Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.

Harold Lewis confirmed an ESPN report in an email to The Associated Press that his client will sign with the Redskins.

Williams, 31, had 46 tackles in 10 games with Seattle this season.

Washington is coping with injuries in its secondary, including two in the regular-season finale Sunday in Dallas.

Safety Kyshoen Jarrett and cornerback Dashaun Phillips suffered injuries against the Cowboys, though Phillips could play Sunday.

The Redskins are the fifth NFL team for Williams since he entered the league in 2008.
