Alshon Jeffery works out with Brandon Marshall over Cutler, Bears teammates
A bunch of the Chicago Bears' top pass-catchers joined quarterback Jay Cutler for workouts at Vanderbilt this week, according to Blair Sheade of the Chicago Sun-Times. That's a good sign for a rebuilding offense, as the additional reps should help form a solid foundation for Chicago's passing game moving forward.
But one player was notably absent.

In the picture above, shared by the Sinema Resturant in Nashville, Tenn., you'll find first-round rookie Kevin White. You'll also see Eddie Royal and Marquess Wilson. You'll even pick out tight end Martellus Bennett (as well as some of the stars from the television series Nashville).
You won't see Alshon Jeffery, though. Jeffery chose, instead, to work out with former Bear and current New York Jet Brandon Marshall in Naperville, Ill.
Looks like @_AJeffery17 will be working out with us tomorrow. First 20 @FitSpeedAPNap changed time to 1030am

This is an interesting development, considering Jeffery's projected role on the team. He's supposed to take over for Marshall as the team's top receiving threat this year, and strengthening the connection he has with the guy throwing him the ball would seem like the best way to do that.
