Anonymous Eagles player calls out DeMarco Murray's effort

A failed third down conversion from the Philadelphia Eagles' Week 10 loss to the Miami Dolphins has at least one Eagles teammate questioning running back DeMarco Murray's effort level.

If you don't remember the play, on a third-and-1 with the Eagles up 16-3 two Sunday's ago, Murray slid in front of the first down marker instead of powering through to pick up the first down.

After Sunday's 45-17 Week 11 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccanners, one Eagles player who asked to remain anonymous, had an interesting response when asked about his team's effort level.

"Well, when you see DeMarco sliding before getting hit, you tell me. Was that giving full effort?" said the anonymous Eagle, per Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Daily Inquirer. "You see that [stuff], and it makes you wonder."

Wide receiver Josh Huff didn't speak about Murray in particular, but he also didn't sound convincing when talking about the team's effort level overall.

"I believe so, but, hey, I don't know," Huff said when asked whether he thought every player was giving 100 percent. "I believe everyone is giving their all, but then again, may not be. I don't know. All I can [do] is speak for myself."

Murray finished the Eagles' loss with 91 total yards on 17 touches. The Eagles finished with 383 yards of total offense and allowed 521 yards of offense to the Buccaneers.
