Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger have 'top secret' nicknames for each other
With the success Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger have had, you would think the Pittsburgh Steelers' dynamic offensive duo wouldn’t want to change a thing.
But it appears that is not the case. Microphones on Showtime’s “Inside the NFL” caught Brown and Big Ben referring to each other by new names.
After Roethlisberger hooked up with tight end Ladarius Green on a third-quarter touchdown pass last Sunday against the Giants, Brown said, via ESPN, “Hey, Billy, you did it.”
Billy? Who’s Billy?
Then Roethlisberger replied, “Good job, Ronald.”
Um, anyone else confused?
It appears this began last week, when Brown wanted to be addressed as “Ronald” but didn’t reveal the reason for the name change, saying it’s “top secret”.
As long as the two Pro Bowl players continue to produce on the field, fans won’t care what they call each other.
