Antrel Rolle: Tom Coughlin 'got the short end of the stick'
Former New York Giants safety and defensive captain Antrel Rolle is not sold that head coach Tom Coughlin and the Giants should have parted ways.
Coughlin resigned as the Giants' head coach earlier this week, and since, many have pointed to a lack of talent from a personnel standpoint and a lack of leadership on the field as the culprit for the team's disappointing season. In an interview with WFAN Wednesday, Rolle talked about these factors in play.
Antrel Rolle on @WFAN660: "I did feel like Coughlin got the short end of the stick. I must admit that."

Rolle also talked about the Giants' current head coach search, which includes current Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase, who made an excellent impression on Rolle after working with him for one season.

Rookie safety Landon Collins entered 2015 with high expectations after being named the starter out of camp, but he struggled at times during his first season. Rolle said Collins has a bright future at the position, but he needs some help in the secondary.
A safety who can complement Collins is at the top of the Giants' long list of team needs heading into the 2016 offseason.
