Baltimore riots update: Ravens cancel NFL Draft party for fans

The riots and protest in Baltimore over the death of Freddie Gray have led the Ravens to cancel the team's draft party.

Here is a statement from the team, released on Tuesday:

Out of respect to the curfew in Baltimore, the Ravens have cancelled their Draft Party, which was scheduled for this Thursday (4/30) night (7-11 p.m.) at M&T Bank Stadium.

For all fans who already purchased tickets, automatic refunds will be issued via the method of payment used for the purchase. Questions concerning refunds can be directed to the Ravens' ticket office at 410-261-RAVE (7283). (Please note that the ticket office will close at 2 p.m. today.)

Additionally, the Ravens Team Store Outlet Sale scheduled for this Saturday (5/2) has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date.

On Sunday, peaceful protests turned violent near Oriole Park at Camden Yards. On Monday, after Gray's funeral, civil unrest broke out across the city, leading to the cancellation of the Orioles game on Tuesday, as well. The city is under a curfew from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., and the National Guard has also been called in.

As of noon Tuesday, the Baltimore mayor's office announced that there were 202 arrests and 144 vehicle fires.
