WACO, Texas (AP) Ex-Baylor standout Ahmad Dixon faces a speeding ticket and other traffic issues after Waco police say they clocked him driving 70 mph in a 40-mph zone.

Dixon, drafted in the seventh round last year by the Dallas Cowboys, was freed on $1,000 bond after the traffic stop Friday.

Police say Dixon had 22 active suspensions on his driver's license, since 2011, due to insurance issues. He was also cited for having an expired vehicle registration.

Dixon in August 2014 was fined $22,050 for a hit on Miami receiver Matt Hazel in a preseason game. The Cowboys waived him the following month.
