Bears currently have best shot to land No. 1 overall draft pick

For some NFL teams, the regular season is a race to the Super Bowl. For others, it's a race to the first-overall pick in next year's draft.

And after two weeks, the Chicago Bears are leading the latter. According to ESPN Stats & Info, the Bears have the best shot to land next year's No. 1 draft pick with a 22 percent chance.

The Oakland Raiders are next with a 15 percent chance. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (13%), Cleveland Browns (11%) and Jacksonville Jaguars (7%) round out the top five -- or is it bottom five?

The Bears have not picked first in the NFL draft since the dawn of the Super Bowl era. Their last first-overall selection was Oklahoma State halfback Bob Fenimore in 1947.

If the Bears do land the top pick in next year's draft, Ohio State defensive lineman Joey Bosa could be coming to Chicago. Other college prospects to watch are Notre Dame offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley and Cal quarterback Jared Goff.
