Ben Roethlisberger Leaves Game Early with Leg Injury
Steelers fans are holding their breath after Ben Roethlisberger left the game with a left knee injury against the Miami Dolphins
Ben Roethlisberger walked off the field under his own power after suffering what looked to be a left knee injury.
Roethlisberger was seen on the tunnel camera limping back to the locker room with a member of the Steelers medical team.
Roethlisberger was just 5/9 with an interception and just 41 passing yards. Big Ben was sacked twice before leaving in the first half. Landry Jones went in to replace Roethlisberger.
Former Chargers trainer David Chao (aka Football Doc) says the injury at face value does not appear to be major, yet he has not examined Roethlisberger.
By video, @_BigBen7 does not appear to have a major left knee injury.
No obvious mechanism for ligament tear. Hope for a very short absence. https://t.co/YBBLdXEa3T— David J. Chao, MD (@ProFootballDoc) October 16, 2016

Next week the Steelers host the New England Patriots, and will then have a bye week.
